The Role: Analyst – Policy, Influencing, and Networking

Plan International is looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our policy analysis, advocacy strategies, and strategic networking. Reporting to the Director – Influencing, Campaigns, and Communications, the Analyst will drive evidence-based advocacy, represent PIB in key platforms and coalitions, and develop high-impact policy briefs and strategic documents.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Analyze national and global policy trends impacting children’s rights and gender equality.

 

Lead the development of policy and advocacy strategies.

 

Represent Plan International in forums such as Joining Forces Bangladesh, CRAC,B, Girls Not Brides, and LNOB.

 

Engage with government, parliament, civil society, and media stakeholders.

 

Collaborate across departments to align with the SDGs and Plan’s goals.

 

What Plan is Looking For

Experience: Minimum 5 years in development/humanitarian work, with at least 3 years in advocacy, policy analysis, or strategic communication.

 

Skills: Strong analytical, research, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to influence non-formal actors like social movements, think tanks, and political actors.

 

Leadership: Values-based leadership, feminist principles, and inclusive mindset.

 

Collaboration: Proven ability to engage with high-level stakeholders from legislature, executive, and judiciary.
